Goal and Objectives
Goal: To make the student aware that the crayons are used only for colouring.
Objectives:
The student will:

- Learn to regulate himself/herself and choose a suitable alternative for chewing and biting.
- Remember to keep the crayons back in their place after using them.
- Learn to use other’s crayons with their permission.
- Learn to express their sensory needs appropriately.
- Be aware that biting crayons is harmful to the health.
- Understand the right way of using crayons.

Social Narrative
Script with illustrations, which provides
input of the situation, people, feelings, thoughts,
appropriate behaviour, etc. to the child/adult with
special needs.
Picture Cards
They are pocket-size cards of key images to enhance visual memory and comprehension skills.
Cue Cards
They are handy visual cues to prompt a child or adult to
demonstrate an expected behaviour.
Communication Cards
They are handy visual cards that support children/adults with limited vocabulary skills to express their needs, emotions, comments, choices, etc., related to the topic.

K.I.S.S. Cards
Pocket-sized Do’s and Don’ts cards to reinforce the practice of correct behaviour and help distinguish between right and wrong actions with the help of visual cues.
Poster
The Social Narrative provided as a poster that could be printed and pasted on the wall at home or at school.
Power Script
They are pocket-sized cards of positive affirmation statements that act as an inner voice and provide motivation and self-confidence.

Poster version of Power Scripts with special characters and space to insert the image of the child.
Self Expression Through Use of Picture Script
SETUP Script
is a comic style of conversation based on a scenario related to the topic.

Audio version of a narrative to help the children/adults who are auditory learners.
