Goal and Objectives  

 Goal: To help the child gain confidence in using metal scissors independently and safely while creating crafts and models at school.

 Objectives:

 The child will:

      • learn the proper way to use metal scissors.
      • understand how to use metal scissors safely, preventing harm to themselves or others.
      • recognise the different purposes of using metal scissors.
      • learn to ask for help when needed while using metal scissors.
      • remember to keep the metal scissors safe after use.
      • be able to select the appropriate type of scissors based on their hand dominance.
      • gain the skill to handle metal scissors independently.
