
Fox and Grapes
Objective
To narrate the story of Fox and Grapes using a 3D model.

Materials required for creating the model for the story on Fox and Grapes
- Forest printouts
- Purple sheets
- Scissors
- Wooden Sticks
- Tissue paper
- Plastic tree models (small size)
- Cardboard Carton
- Coloured pens
- Sheets
- Fish wire
Preparation for activity:
Keep all materials ready in advance. Teachers can also use real, small plants to make the activity feel real.
Procedure
- Cut the front face of the box and paste a green color sheet under the box at the center of the carton.
- Paste the grapes printout sheets on both the sides, inside of the box. For making a background, paste the forest scene picture at the back to create a natural setting.
- Take small rectangular pieces of purple sheets to wrap tiny bits of tissue paper to make small grapes.
- Attach the grapes with the fish wire by twisting and turning, and make small branches which can be hung down using sticks. Now to make grape bunches, tie four wires together to form a frame.
- Place the fox model near the grapes (in a gesture of eating grapes) to complete the set up. Add plastic tree models near the fox to show the set up of forest.
- Rising above from the backside, display a board saying, FOX AND GRAPES using cardboard.

Important Tips
- Teachers can also do storytelling in class using this model. Physical models make children understand better. It improves the attention span and also increases recognition power.
- Through this model, teachers can effectively introduce students to fictional stories. It is also beneficial for children with disabilities, as it encourages listening power and develops imagination.
