Goal and Objectives

Goal: To support the child in developing the ability to understand and control the volume of his voice in different social situations.

Objectives:

The child will:

- - be mindful of the surroundings and adjust the volume of their voice accordingly.
  - understand the difference between a loud and a quiet voice.
  - understand and empathize with the pain and discomfort of others.
  - discover how loud noises and sounds impact their well-being and the wellbeing of others.

Social Narrative

This narrative describes a social situation or activity and answers key questions: What, When, Where, Why and How. It helps individuals with special needs understand the appropriate behaviours and responses for similar situations.
