Goal and Objectives
Goal: To help the child gain confidence in using scissors independently and safely while creating crafts in the classroom.
Objectives:
The child will:

- learn the correct way to use scissors.
- understand how to use scissors safely, preventing harm to him/her or others.
- recognise the different purposes of using scissors.
- learn to ask for help when needed while using scissors.
- remember to keep the scissors safe after use.
- be able to select the appropriate type of scissors based on his or her hand dominance.
- gain the skill to handle scissors independently.
